The Red Couch - New Opportunities for BRM!
Bremerton Rescue Mission is honored to partner with Red Couch
Mission Guy Truck
We've been able to put the catering truck in operation on Monday nights at Rocket Coffee on Kitsap Way and on Wednesday nights at Coram Deo on Hwy 303.
With daylight savings time our numbers have nearly doubled at the Rocket Coffee site, which is 100% outdoors.

The truck is wholly self-contained
Each Monday, Wednesday and Friday we load the truck with whatever equipment and supplies
and dinner is necessary to serve the dinner site. Supplies include clothing and hygiene products and Bibles. Equipment includes tables and chairs, tents, signs and food-service equipment. The mission keeps all of its supplies and equipment in a commissary located at
6th Street and Naval Avenue in Bremerton. We're grateful for the many great volunteers who have helped us launch this effort. Each night requires nearly ten volunteers to serve smoothly and we have a new volunteer orientation coming up later in February for anyone who wants to help serve (see Volunteer Section below).
Still, our Friday night dinner at the Hub on Hwy 303 is growing with nearly seventy people showing up for dinner. We now have showers, haircuts, clothing and hygiene packs and great, great dinners - thanks to God for what He is doing; thanks to our great volunteers. Watch this 1:33 video for an update on the Friday Night Dinner.
